Privacy

Introduction and Overview

We have composed this privacy policy (Version 20.05.2022-122031173) in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and applicable national laws, to explain to you which personal data (referred to as data) we, as data controllers – and the data processors we employ (e.g., providers) – process, will process in the future, and what lawful options you have. The terms used are to be understood in a gender-neutral manner.
In short: We comprehensively inform you about the data we process about you.

Privacy policies usually sound very technical and use legal jargon. However, this privacy policy aims to describe the most important aspects to you as simply and transparently as possible. To enhance transparency, technical terms are explained in a reader-friendly manner, links to further information are provided, and graphics are utilized. Thus, we clearly and simply inform you that, within the scope of our business activities, we only process personal data when there is a corresponding legal basis. Achieving this isn't feasible when providing brief, unclear, and legally technical explanations, as is often the standard on the internet when it comes to privacy. We hope you find the following explanations interesting and informative, perhaps uncovering some information you were not previously aware of.
If questions persist, we kindly ask you to contact the responsible entity mentioned below or in the legal notice, follow the provided links, and seek additional information on third-party sites. Our contact details can, of course, also be found in the legal notice.

Concerning EU law, we refer to REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of April 27, 2016. Other conditions such as the exercise of recordings in the public interest and exercising public authority, as well as the protection of vital interests, usually do not apply to us. If such a legal basis should be relevant, it will be indicated at the respective point.

If you do not wish this, you can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow this only in individual cases.
